It's hard to position a show in peak daytime for our client, Afro-Mic productions, that will cut through at 6.30pm with so many talent to negotiate with. It's also had a first outing on BBC Northern Ireland, so were are effectively approaching the same story twice. However, always up for a challenge, we successfully extracted as much PR value as possible out of a three-week series, by utilising all the resources, PR stories and digital assets available. This ongoing project has resulted in widespread coverage across the board, multiple TV interviews on BBC and commercial stations, features in tabloids, broadsheets and TV listings, and travel and food features too - not to mention massive plugs for the Northern Irish tourist board, and the stunning locations featured in the series.
