As Magic Light Pictures retained agency since 2015, Faber & Bishopp publicise their annual BBC One/BBCiplayer Christmas Day adaptations. Last year's Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler film was 'The Smeds and the Smoos' starring Rob Brydon, Adjoa Andoh and Bill Bailey. The Christmas Day BBC One and BBC iplayer TX was the 5th highest share for the day with a healthy 36.38%.

Our brief for 2022's campaign was to secure maximum national media exposure, alongside some stiff competition from The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse - another primetime family animation on the BBC. We exceeded our target by delivering £2,800,000 worth of consumer coverage across radio, print, online and television including 2 front covers and the cover of the Sun TV Magazine and Daily Mail Weekend Magazine. We also secured prestige spreads in The Times, and an increased TV radio campaign that included BBC Breakfast, GMB, The One Show, Sunday Brunch, Chris Evans Virgin Radio, BBC Radio 2, BBC Newsround and BBC's Morning Live.

As well as a successful consumer launch we focused on the wider Magic Light story via trade PR, which included interviews in Animation Magazine, C21 and Variety.
