Our Lives: Born Deaf Raised Hearing

We love working with new Indies, and On Par Productions is no exception. Via a referral from another Welsh indie, we publicised a beautiful documentary, Born Deaf Raised Hearing, the first in BBC One's "Our Lives" series. The film took a uniquely informative look at the extraordinary life of deaf actor Jonny Cotsen as he examined his identity in a hearing world. Despite a tight turnaround, we secured blanket coverage including Broadcast Behind the Scenes profile, multiple previews and picks in the listings and broadsheets and radio appearances on Radio 4's Saturday Live and Radio 5 Live's afternoon show.
