In this documentary for BBC Four, disabled artist Alison Lapper, and internationally renowned photographer Rankin, tackled contemporary attitudes to beauty and identity through the medium of photography. Alison and Rankin met four fascinating people who didn't conform to traditional notions of beauty, or who hated being photographed, and invited them to step in front of Rankin’s camera. Each person revealed their incredible life story and their own personal struggle with their sense of identity.

Our PR campaign delivered an extensive spread of media coverage and allowed us to showcase the documentary to opinion formers and commentators, to broaden the discussion of diversity and stereotypes in the media.
