To mark World Suicide Prevention Day 2019, Channel 5 commissioned a remarkable and intimate documentary looking at the complex, misunderstood, and challenging subject of male suicide. The film featured 6 men, all in the depths of mental health emergency, determined to take their own life and who bravely agreed to share their experiences on television in order educate and inform others. Faber & Bishopp were hired by Channel 5 specifically for our diplomacy and experience handling provocative and sensitive subject matters, and we successfully executed a 360 campaign that incorporated a parliamentary event for mental health opinion formers, widespread national press coverage for the series as well an interview on BBC Radio 4's "The Media Programme", discussing the complexities and trust issues facing TV makers when documenting vulnerable members of the public.
